    Calibration Methods of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

    Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) has gained great attention over the past two decades due to its many advantages, such as needless sample preparation, capability of remote measurement and fast multielement simultaneous analysis. However, because of its inherent uncertainty features of plasma, it is still a big challenge for LIBS community worldwide to realize high sensitivity and accurate quantitative analysis. Currently, many chemometric analytical methods have been applied to LIBS calibration analysis, including univariate regression, multivariate regression, principal component regression (PCR), partial least squares regression (PLSR) and so on. In addition, appropriate sample and spectral pretreatment can effectively improve the analytical performance (i.e., limit of detection (LOD), accuracy and repeatability) of LIBS. In this chapter, we briefly summarize the progress of these calibration methods and their applications on LIBS and provide our recommendations

    Research on Factors Affecting the Use of E-commerce Consumer Credit Services: A Study of Ant Check Later

    This study uses “Ant Check Later”, the e-commerce consumer credit service of Alibaba, as the artifact and explores factors affecting its use. This study first summarized initiatives that Alibaba has launched to stimulate the use of “Ant Check Later”. Three factors, bonus, quota lifting, and scenario enrichment, were then distinguished from the initiatives using principal component analysis. These factors were anticipated to affect consumers’ intention to use the service. The research model was tested using 373 respondents collected from an online survey. Results indicate that bonus, quota lifting, and scenario enrichment are three predictors of consumers’ intention to continue using the service, and bonus and scenario enrichment positively affect non-users’ intention to use the service. This study found that scenario enrichment is the most important factor among the three factors in boosting consumers’ behavioral intention toward using the service.     Unitary Constraints on Semiclassical Schwarzschild Black Holes in the Presence of Island

    We reconsider D≥4D\geq4 dimensional asymptotically flat eternal Schwarzschild black hole, and focus on the situation where the inner boundary of the radiation region is chosen to be near the horizon (i.e. β≪1\beta\ll 1). The tension between the near horizon condition and the short-distance approximation emerges in large dimensions in previous papers. We remove this tension by introducing a more proper near horizon condition, thus the resulting island solution is well-behaved in any D≥4D\geq4 dimensional spacetime. Interestingly, a novel constraint is obtained in this situation as required by the existence of the island solution, which directly leads to the constraints on the size of the Schwarzschild black hole, the position of the inner boundary for the radiation region, or the value of c⋅G~Nc\cdot\tilde{G}_{N} in any D≥4D\geq4 dimension. When considering the large DD limit, the constraint on the size of the Schwarzschild black hole obtained in this situation is in agreement with the result given in [Phys.Rev.D102(2020)2,026016][Phys.Rev.D 102 (2020) 2, 026016].
